Medical Tourism Guide
In the course of our research on medical tourism, we couldn't find a relevant medical tourism guide. We found that many of the major medical tourism companies didn't explain the process of what actually happens when you go abroad.

We couldn't understand from these medical tourism sites what needed to be done at home, what needed to be done overseas. Would you need to go back overseas for any follow up care? We were left with too many questions and not enough answers.
Since we could not find a comprehensive medical travel guide, we decided to create one. Our guide goes through each procedure step-by-step and its relationship to traveling overseas and being in a foreign country.
Each section was written with our specialist in that field. However, this guide is not exclusively for Israel, it's for traveling anywhere. Please keep in mind though, that no two doctors share the same protocol and doctors in other countries may do things differently.
A Real Guide for Medical Tourists
This medical tourism guide will provide you with the information you will need to know about having your procedure done overseas. We do not provide extensive information about the procedures themselves, however for each procedure we put together a resource page with links to great sites relating to that procedure.

You may also notice that we do not list a plethora of medical procedures. This is because we've narrowed the medical procedures down to what you can realistically have done away from home within a two week time period.
We've included information we thought was relevant to the following medical procedures:
If you haven't found what you're looking for or need information we haven't provided, please let us know.
